The Easter school holidays start today and we’ve seen lots of fun activities advertised for over the holidays and the Easter weekend to help you keep the kids entertained.
We thought we would share what we’ve seen so far to help make your holidays fun for all the family!

The Myrtle Tavern Pub, Meanwood – Sunday 2nd April – Grand Garden Opening Party, opened by Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol! The event unveils the new playzone for 3-12 year olds, wendy house for 1-3 year olds, learning garden, outdoor bar, candy floss machines, ice creams, BBQ and paw patrol tombola. Starts at 1pm.
Thackray Medical Museum – Junior CSI – A crime has been committed. Can you solve the clues to crack the case? Junior CSI invites you to put your detective skills to the test as your explore three different crime scenes. Wearing a hazmat suit you will take part in blood spatter analysis, fingerprint identification and facial reconstruction, all planned with the help from West Yorkshire Police. Bramley Baths – Monday 3rd April – Monday 17th April – Fun sessions for all ages, including family swims, walk the plank, parent and tot swims, underwater treasure hunts and even a junior mermaid course! www.bramleybaths.com
Leeds City Museum – Hippo Easter (Tuesday 4th April – Friday 7th April; & Tuesday 11th April – Thursday 14th April, 10am – 12pm & 1pm – 3pm). Multi-sensory family adventure sessions about the hippo and storytelling. On Tuesday 4th April there’s a comic strip masterclass (ages 11+); and on Friday 7th April a chance to don a lab coat and investigate 125,000 old hippo bones (age 7+). www.leeds.gov.uk/schoolholidays

Horsforth Hall Park – Beer Festival Friday 14th April – Sunday 16th April. Family Fun Day on Sunday 16th April with things for the whole family to do such as craft stalls, tombola, bouncy castle, games and lots more!
St James Woodside Church, Horsforth – Saturday 15th April 10am – 12:30pm. Free Easter Egg Hunt with Cadbury’s chocolate prize for each child, live 3 week old chicks from Meanwood Valley Urban Farm, bouncy castle, Easter crafts, games and more!
Burley Top & Burley Village Easter Egg Hunt – Sunday 16th April 11am – 1pm – Burley Village Green. Come and meet the Mad Hatter and the Easter Bunny!
