Woodhouse Ridge itself became a parkland, complete with belvederes (viewing platforms), seating, drinking fountains and even a bandstand. From the city centre, follow the A660 Woodhouse Lane north-west out of town. Continue past Leeds University, past Woodhouse Moor and through the traffic lights at Hyde Park Corner continuing onto what is known as Headingley Lane. Take the fifth turning on the right into North Hill Road. Continue to the end of North Hill Road. Just before the university grounds on the right, just after No.20 North Hill Road, is a driveway (White Lodge is indicated on the right-hand post).
