Michael Moore, a Director at Moores, says:

“This property has loads of character, but it does need some refurbishment, hence the price – a similar house in very nice condition has just sold for considerably more! Our clients now live overseas and don’t have the time to do the refurbishment before sale, therefore this offers a tremendous opportunity for someone in the trades, or with good DIY skills to turn this into the home of their dreams.”

Charlie Priestley, one of the Negotiators at Moores, says:

“The Cardigan Triangle is a lovely part of Headingley, very leafy with some delightful cobbled streets, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of central Headingley’s pubs and bars, yet only a few minutes’ walk from the Burley Park train station, the Co-op supermarket and the retail shops on Cardigan Road. It’s only a mile or so along Victoria Road and over Woodhouse Moor to Leeds University and even less to the Beckett Park Campus.”

Property Location

From the centre of Headingley by the Headingley Central shopping centre, proceed east along the A660 Otley Road towards Leeds. Turn right at the Skyrack Pub into St Michael’s Road. Turn immediately left down the narrow St Michael’s Lane which takes you behind St Michael’s Church. At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Cardigan Road, towards Leeds. Take the next right (narrow road) down Chapel Lane into the Cardigan Triangle. After approximately 200 yards turn right into Broomfield Road, where this property can then be found on the left-hand side.

I knew my gut and head instinct to choose Moores was the right one – to my mind you are head and shoulders above any other firm I have come into contact with over my whole Headingley house-search. Very grateful to you for everything.

I’ve just left a Moores managed property after ten years renting there and I have always found them very professional. I liked the regular inspections, and maintenance always dealt with any issues quickly, even non-urgent ones. Communication was excellent, I’ve always been very happy with the service. I was sorry to leave.
