Michael Moore, Moores Senior Partner, says:

“This is a true mews house in every sense of the word. Originally, it was one of the coach houses for Gledhow Hall, a Georgian Mansion House once occupied by the Lord Mayor of Leeds, and originally the site of a manorial dwelling gifted by Queen Elizabeth I in return for armed services to the Realm. In a terrace of only 3, with the Sheriff’s Lodge to the front, this little gated and walled enclave sits on the fringe of the beautiful woodland known as Little Switzerland. For a young, busy, professional couple who like to entertain family, friends and business associates, I can imagine this will be perfect.”

Rachel Abbott, one of Moores Negotiators, says:

“This is a deceptive property. From the front it looks cute and characterful, but doesn’t look very spacious, yet once inside you can appreciate the open-plan space that’s downstairs and the three double bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. The courtyard at the rear isn’t very large but is totally private and enclosed, whether just for privacy or for security of pets or children, this is ideal – and easy to maintain. We’ve had this tenanted for some time, but it’s now vacant and ready to move into.”

From the centre of Chapel Allerton proceed north on the Harrogate Road and turn right just after the allotments onto Gledhow Valley Road. Proceed down Gledhow Valley Road for approximately half a mile and turn left into Gledhow Lane. Wind your way up through the woods and under the bridge where this development can be found on the right-hand side through the electric gates. An alternative approach is to follow the large stone boundary wall of Gledhow Hall to the right and keep turning right in front of the Hall which leads in turn to the parking area for Kitson Lodge and its sibling properties.
