“We viewed quite a few different properties before finally settling on this one, but we were both really taken in by the gorgeous engineered oak flooring throughout, the off-street parking and the spacious and light rooms. The storage space was also a big selling point. We like character in a property, so the period features really appealed to us. There’s a really nice, friendly vibe to the area and the variety of bars, cafés, restaurants and shops right on our doorstep was something we really liked. The location is perfect – a 2 minute walk to the bus stop and then 10 minutes on the bus will see you in the city centre. We’re just a 10 minute walk from the train station, in very close proximity to a primary school, 15 minutes walk to the park, or 10 minutes in the car to Roundhay Park. The flat is on a very quiet road, so you wouldn’t know you’re just a short walk from all the local amenities. The neighbours are lovely, typically young professionals. When we moved in, we were keen to put our stamp on the place. Having previously lived in rented accommodation, buying our first home together meant making a place which was truly ours. We’ve done quite a lot of renovation to the property and hope the next owners will love it as much as we have.”

From the centre of Headingley by the Headingley Central shopping parade proceed south along the A660 Otley Road. At the Original Oak and Skyrack pubs, turn right into St Michael’s Road and first left down the side of the church along St Michael’s Lane (this road narrows before turning to the right). At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Cardigan Road. Take the second major turning left into Spring Road and this property can be found on the left as you proceed up the hill towards the A660 Headingley Lane. Please note, you cannot turn down Spring Road from Headingley Lane as the top of this road is single file, one way, traffic.
