Autumn is officially upon us and this usually brings a shift to the rentals market in that less applicants are looking to move and fewer properties are listed.

I am pleased to say that we have seen the best year on record for our professional lettings team with plenty of new properties hitting the market which have successfully let at premium rents. Our managed properties are now filled with tenants on fixed term tenancies giving landlords peace of mind that their property is producing them a good income up until the market activity takes off again in Spring.

Yes, this time of year does see a quieter market, however I would advise any investment landlord to be using this time to consider a new property purchase (or two). Sales can take 2-3 months to complete which works perfectly for listing a property in the New Year which is always a very busy time for the Moores Rentals Team. You may also find some deals to be done where property owners want to be out of their property or have it sold by the end of the year.
