Kirkstall Lane/Queenswood Road Junction – What’s Special About This Area?

8th March 2016

The Headingley/Burley border, where the train line from Harrogate to Leeds leaves Headingley Train Station to plunge, unbeknown to many, under the traffic light junction at Queenswood Road and Kirkstall Lane, is one of those locations where it has the best of two worlds – it’s a short walk to all the cafes, pubs, bars, restaurants and shops in Headingley, yet a 2 minute car journey down the hill takes you to M&S Food Hall, PureGym, Morrisons Supermarket and the beautiful grounds of Kirkstall Abbey.

The train station is a major attraction for residents in this area, providing quick and reliable, transport into Leeds, Horsforth and Harrogate.

There is also the advantage, if you have an LS4 postcode here rather than LS6, of usually being able to get slightly lower insurance premiums for your car!
