We sometimes forget about the importance of having insurance cover for our most treasured possessions, often thinking disaster will happen to someone else before it happens to us. Some policies will even provide cover against accidental damage caused to Landlord’s fixtures and fittings e.g. if a bottle of Merlot is accidentally spilled on the landlord’s carpet – no worries!
