19th January 2017
Friends of Beckett Park need help with the woodland management – can you spare a few hours on Sunday 29th January to help? The aim is to thin out the beech saplings in the central copse to allow more light to the young oaks, cherries and rowans and encourage wildlife.
No gardening experience is necessary. Gardening gloves and tools will be provided, but if you do own any garden saws, loppers or secateurs feel free to bring them along.
Hayley from our office will be attending to lend a hand. It’s a great way to meet new people and help out in the community.
If you would like more information or to be put in touch with the Friends of Beckett Park then please email Hayley at firstname.lastname@example.org
