Burley In Wharfedale is a beautiful village situated within the Wharfedale Valley.  Located on the A65 road, it is 11 miles North West from Leeds City Centre, 8 miles from Bradford and 2-3 miles from the popular market towns of Ilkley and Otley.

In the late 18th Century Burley developed into an industrial village with many residents employed at the Greenholme Mills, cotton mills powered from the River Wharfe.

The village itself is a popular location for elderly & retired people but also lots of young families are attracted to the area due to job opportunities, new housing developments and the popular local primary schools.

The village provides an array of cafés, boutique shops & restaurants as well as picturesque walks in the lovely countryside.

There is a train station on the Wharfedale line with direct trains to Leeds, Bradford and Ilkley.
